Tinky The Therapist
Our beautiful Beagle Tinky came to our family at a time when I needed so much love and uplifting. As a puppy she brought so much love fun and joy to my life. She shared all her love and quickly earned the name of ‘best cuddler’.
She has always been able to read my moods and knows when extra loving is needed.

Towards the end of 2021 sweet Tinky lost her eyesight and had to have her eyes removed. I was devastated as I watched her make her way around confused and lost. Trying to adapt to a new world. At the time I had to decide whether to let her have the operation or just to let her go peacefully - I based my decisions on my human fears and really believed it would be cruel at her age to have to adapt.
Once she had the operation and was free of the discomfort and possibly pain her eyes were causing her , Tinky became a different dog.

She accepted her new status in life and wondered around the place like she owned it.
When I needed to downsize my living arrangements I again went into human fear and thought she wouldn’t cope. Well sweet dear Tinky once again proved me wrong .
Bless her , it took about three days to find her way around and learn where the steps were.
She seems so happy here in our new setup. She is truly a soul sent to teach me how to adapt and accept what is. Tinky will be 14 this year and I am so grateful for these extra years I’ve had with her. She has taught me so much
